2,4-Dihydroxybenzophenone (BP-1/UV-0) is an metabolite of Benzophenone, it is soluble in common organic solvents and readily compatible with many polymers. The max. absorbing wavelength range is 280-340nm. BP-1 (UV-0) is particularly recommended for using in polyolefine, olyvinyl chlornamee, polystyrene etc. and as the intermediate of UV-absorbing agents (UV-9, UV-531) as well.
